Most MRPII or ERP software can only support infinite capacity planning, but can't do anything about continuous pre scheduling

3. Support just in time delivery (JIT)

this requires tracking the status of semi-finished products in production; Track the quantity and location of finished products (many warehouse management modules can only track the location); Delivery scheduling can maximize the use of transportation capacity resources (few MRPII or ERP software have this transportation management function); Flexible delivery note formats and invoice formats can meet the different requirements of customers (some customers need to compile a batch of deliveries into a delivery note to reduce paper operations)

4. Accurately predict paper roll demand

due to the long purchase time of base paper and the short delivery time of customers, the demand for raw materials is no longer determined by orders, but needs to be predicted (which means that the MRP technology - the core of MPRII or EPR software is no longer applicable)

5. It can freely deal with events that are special to other industries and common to carton manufacturing industry

for example: a) complete set delivery. For example, one RSC carton and two plug-ins must be delivered in sets. At this time, individual pieces, such as RSC cartons and plug-ins, have the following dual definitions: if the customer orders by set, RSC cartons and plug-ins must be defined as semi-finished products; If the customer sends an order by a single piece (such as 100 plug-ins), it will be defined as a finished product

b) corrugated machine scheduling and printing machine scheduling. No MRPII software can handle the scheduling requirements of corrugated box production

III. factors to be considered in the introduction of information technology

software performance and users: computer integrated manufacturing system is very complex, and there are many molding systems on the market. Now factories rarely develop their own software, but buy software and seek training and assistance from software vendors. Because the hardware, software and implementation costs of the whole system are expensive, it is very important to choose a system suitable for the company's business environment and budget, as well as reliable performance. Because of the complexity of computer integrated manufacturing system, it is impossible for the factory to evaluate and test every function before implementing a system. A feasible way is to prepare several typical information processes and data of the company and test the processing method of each system. At the same time, evaluate the number of existing users of each system, the satisfaction of users, and the similarity with the company's business
